Jervis Bay Hearing Centre Mixed Two Bowl All Day Triples at Huskisson Bowling Club

It was a beautiful day in Jervis Bay at the Husky Bowling Club for the Mixed Two Bowl All Day Triples on 8 November. The weather had been threatening to pour down on the bright and ready greens all day. Everybody enjoyed the sun with 42 participants plus many supporters showing out for the two bowl triples format over three games of 12 ends. It was a great success with a sausage sizzle thrown in and the bar staff kept busy.

John Brett, Manager of Jervis Bay Hearing Centre, attended the awards presentation and took the opportunity to meet and chat with the participants. Everybody was in good spirits and eager to find out who were the lucky winners of the event.

John opened the presentation with a short speech about hearing health and the importance of getting help early. “Good hearing is good for your health” said John. “It affects so many people and is becoming more and more common, yet many people don’t seek help. Many of you today have told me you know of friends and family that might need help with a hearing loss. It’s important that they know help is available.”

John presented the following winners with their prizes:

Winners:       Gary Worthy/Heather Hart/Ian Hart
2nd:                Jack Howarth/Ron Drew/Josie Calvert
3rd:                 Greg Bunter/Robyn Goth/Rae Booth

The Jervis Bay Hearing Centre Hamper was won by Club stalwart Brian Ricketts.

Congratulations to the winners and we hope everybody had a wonderful time.
