Alison’s professional and ethical approach to Audiology has earned her lifelong patients and regard amongst her peers. Alison thrives on changing people’s lives and educating her community.

Alison has 28 years experience in Paediatric and Adult Audiology. She studied Audiology at the University of Melbourne under Professor Graeme Clark who invented the Cochlear implant. In addition to hearing and hearing aids, her areas of speciality include Cochlear implantation, Bone anchored hearing aids and middle ear implants. Other special interests are Tinnitus & Hyperacusis. Alison has contributed to Tinnitus research projects and is published internationally. Alison co-authored a study in 2011 which won the prestigious Jack Vernon Award at the International Tinnitus Seminar in Brazil with Myriam Westcott. Recently she has been studying ways to actively manage conductive hearing loss in children and presented the results of this study at the Audiology Australia conference in Sydney and the National Otitis Media conference (OMOZ 2018) in Darwin in 2018.
